Hi, I’m Erin.

I help individuals and organizations find, shape, and share their stories.

Storytelling is awesome.

Stories spread joy! They inform, inspire, and create connections. Stories are also powerful — unearthing truths and helping us all do better.

What I do:

  • Subject research, question development, interviewing (in-person and virtual), clip curation, footage transcription and digital promotion.

  • Long-form articles, history-based posts, Q&As, profiles, book reviews, blurbs, video scripts, online copy, banners (digital and print), emails.

  • Digital and print articles, video content, emails, websites, promotions.

  • Project planning, story development, editorial oversight, publication management, results assessment and insights.

I bring enthusiasm, curiosity, and a commitment to authenticity to all of my work.

I value brainstorming and riffing, listening before leaping, and understanding the whys behind the whats. I respect craft, resist jargon, and rewrite the passive voice. I’m a stickler for a deadline, and believe a bit of fun and a well-placed pun make the ride as rewarding as the result.

These days I review books and interview authors. I mostly cover fiction, but also some nonfiction.

Quotes from my reviews now appear on book jackets and in paperback.

I also work with clients on myriad projects — explaining new initiatives, highlighting rockstars, and celebrating successes.

Off the clock, I keep scribbling and jotting. These are my musings.

I can’t help it.

Whether riding the bus in L.A., raising a daughter, or rating my cookbooks, I’ve chronicled life’s wonky wonder. Its beauty and hilarity. Its questions and quirks.

Today I write about exploring my new home: Oregon’s mossy, magical Willamette Valley.
